As a matter of facts, our name ‘Baira’ was the word used to identify the bow in the Taíno dialect. The Taínos were the pre-Columbian inhabitants of Puerto Rico and other Greater Antilles on the Caribbean. As you may know, the bow is an instrument used as a weapon to shoot arrows, the 'bairas' were made of a curved piece of wood joined at both ends by a taut rope.
We choose Baira as our firm's brand because we got inspire of it's meaning in Taino language to set up our mission of helping our clients to reach their goals. That's why we say that at Baira we are sharp as an arrow but flexible as a bow.
